Pein, The Real Akatsuki Leader
I know that you are confused whether who the real leader of the Akatsuki is after a 1-eyed Sharingan user appeared in the Naruto Manga that gives instruction to Pein or Pain.
I reviewed the Naruto Manga chapter 364 to the latest one and I realized that the real leader of the Akatsuki is Pein or Pain.
The Akatsuki member, who looked like Tobi that gave instruction of what to do to Pein, was actually just a messenger sent to tell Pein to hurry. And the one who sent that messenger must be a leader of another group of which the Akatsuki is connected.

lol i believe tht Pein is the figure head of akatsuki while Madara (in Tobi’s body thanks to Orochimaru) is the true leader. at the same time, i believe tht the true identity of ‘Pein’ is Sai’s brother-as they look formilier (pein and sai’s brother) this is also very believeable because it is stated tht Sai’s brother was adopted and the fact tht sai’s picture book represents the twoo of them fighting (much like Itachi and Sasuke) i believe tht this wud make a gr8 story-for Sai’s brother to be the figure head of Akatsuki, it will give Sai’s character a more forceful and interesting purpose.

When itachi and sasuke began to fight in manga itachi tells him that there’s a third sharingan user and I believe that madara is the akatsuki leader for wat itachi mention to sasuke. 100% sure read manga when itachi talks to sasuke about madara.

uchiha fushan i agree in some of your observation but not all of it… 1st i believe that tobi is madara, and tobi could not be obito. 1st obito is dead it was clear in the story about kakashi. 2nd madara is the leader of akatsuki and not pein or pain and since i believe that tobi is madara that makes tobi(madara) as the leader, for those who argue try to read the conversation of sasuke and itachi madara and you will found out that madara founded akatsuki and up to now he is still alive.
anyways for those who believe that pein or pain’s ability is just summons well im telling you! you are absolutely wrong!!! did you catch what jeriah is talking??? he said that nagato/pein or pain is able to use all kinds of elements which no other shinobi can. making pein a very good ninjutsu user. second pein uses those summons as a strategy to defeat jeriah… actually in the last part of pein and jeriah fight pein said that he could have lost if he did’nt use the strategy he is using(or something like that) so what i say here he uses those summons to defeat jeriah… meaning to say pein is not just the type of guy who only uses summons… and another thing those summons got thier special ability like for example the 1st 3 summons to show they got thier specialties. the fat 1 is for ninjutsu absorbtion, the guy who closes its eyes is for taijutsu attacts and the other one is for summoning… for all you comments contact me via friendster or visit my website allpinoy.webs.com

why? i wil tell you, pein eyes those rings around its a very rare blood trait that only he posses its the blood trait that created jutsu. pein eyes where there before the sharigan that are only a weak replica of his blood trait. called the rinnegan. it is treu that pein has special summoning jutsu where he can sommon body’s to use for his own he has 6 in total the are s-clas shinobi also whit each a almost impossible to defeat bloodtraits. However pein dos infact take commands from uchiha madara. but madara works on his own and only contacts pein . GUYS, THINK ABOUT IT!!! Akatsuki is an organization, and an organization needs a stable ruling to put the organization in order. That being said, I think Akatsuki might hav sumthin like politics. Here’s the confirmation I’ve heard: Pain is the real leader of Akatsuki, and Tobi (Madara Uchiha) is the founder of Akatsuki. Read the manga, Tobi used Akatsuki originally to mask Madara’s movements during the founding of Konoha era. Tobi doesn’t lead Pain, he only gives him advice on what to do. And as to who’s stronger, that’s not the topic so why argue? Besides, Tobi just may be stronger even when he’s not leader. But the other theories make some sense. Maybe Tobi USED to be the leader, but transferred it to Pain. Did sum of u think Tobi is Obito? WHAT!!? =O you think so?

Tobi to Uchiha – Leader of the Uchiha clan, first sharingan user
Tobi to konoha = One of the founders of konoha Village
Tobi to Mist village = after losing to the 1sthokage he became the Mizukage of the Mist Village
Tobi to Akatsuki = He is the real leader of the akatsuki, he is the real mastermind of all their plans, Pein is just his subordinate
Tobi to kakashi = This is kakashi’s ninja friend who gave him the sharingan… (Tobi/obito/tobito only has one eye remember?!)
There is also a chance that Pein is related to sai (the person who sai treated as a brother on his book)
What did jiraiya found out?!?!

you guys probably wont like me saying this but what if they were both the leaders of the akatsuki because what if when they first came into contact they found out that they both had the same goals so they decided to form the group known as the akatsuki because when you think about is they can’t complete there goals without each other pein needs madara to control the tailed beast because i think madara came up with that whole ritual to seal the beasts and peins needs the beasts to complete the ultimate jutsu. and madara needs pein’s ultimate jutsu to destroy konoha

Madara Uchiha is the true leader and founder of the Akatsuki. Pein is knowingly his replacement, giving Madara the chance to lay low as Tobi. The reason for his Alter-Ego is that after his defeat at the valley of the end, he apparently died. This obviously didn’t happen, and he decided it was a good way for him to pull strings from the shadows without anyone knowing that he’s still alive. The ones knowing Tobi’s true identity are Pein, Konan and Kisame, the latter reckognizing him as the Mizukage. There is alot of confusion about this, i know, but i assure you, this is the truth. However, recent events have led fans to believe that Tobi/Madara is actually Danzou. Wether this is true or not, we’ll know sooner or later.

I think madara knows pein’s weakness & secret to his jutsu ( ie knows where nagato’s real body is )..and pein is scared of that fact ( that he can actually be killed)….I mean jiraiya realised that the real pain is hidden somewhere else before he died ( if he didn’t lose his arm, the real nagato would have been forced to come out)
Madara is wise, knowledgeable & powerful ( extremely) and pein wouldn’t dare challenge him.

Tobi/Madara could really have a immortality jutsu like Orochimaru because he (I guess) have been back in time with Uchiha Obito. As you notice he has a right eye sharingan and the fact that he gave the left to Kakashi is noticable(for me). Pein is a strong man/monster, possessing Rin’negan but Madara is stronger haveng Sharingan, which makes Byakugan weaker.
pein is the leader of the akatsuki but only untill madara reveals himself to the world but there is some tension that is going on between tobi and pein. i dont know what the outcome will be for those two but which ever person dies the other person will take over the akatsuki and reign supreme.
