If you?ve realized how the barrier was set-up, you?ll be amazed on the intelligence that the Akatsuki member who set this up has. Well, of course, it?s because of the intelligence of the writer of the Naruto story.

Anyway, just consider these facts:

1- The Barrier

The barrier of the entrance of the gate was made of a large stone which couldn?t be removed by those who don?t have strength to remove. Well, Gai-Sensie and Sakura-Chan has the power and capability of removing this barrier by just punching it off. Naruto-Kun can easily remove this too by using his Rasengan. Even Neji-Kun can blow it off by his special ability on Chakra control.

2- The Barrier on the Barrier

The barrier of the cave?s entrance was again protected by another ninjutsu barrier which is called the 5 Seals barrier. I already explained to you before how it works. The fact behind this kind of barrier is that you can?t remove it by simply removing the 5 barriers one by one. What you need to do is to remove them at the same time.

In other words, you need to let the 5 members of your platoon to remove each of the 5 Seals at the same time.

In the case of Team Gai and Team Kakashi, both of the teams have 4 members plus the leaders of the teams. Since Team Gai was the quickest among the two teams, so they?re in-charge of removing the other 4 seals. Team Kakashi, because they?re the main team on this mission, they?re be in-charge of getting inside the cave.

3- The Trap

Not only that the barrier is really hard to remove but behind the barrier are the traps on each of them who removed the 5 Seals. For the other 4 Seals the trap is that the shinobi who removed the Seals will be battling against their clones with the same Chakra level, Techniques and Abilities. The shinobi who will remove the Seal on the main entrance of the cave will face the main enemy who set up the barriers.

Now, the problem with this is: If the one who will face the enemy will be defeated, then it only means that all the four who battle with their clones will sure by defeated too. It?s because the clones will banish only if the enemy who set this trap up will be defeated.

The Purpose

The purpose of this kind of trap and barrier is obvious.

We all know that a platoon of shinobi composed of 1 leader and 4 members. In other words, this barrier was meant for a platoon of shinobi who want to enter the cave. And it also makes sure that this platoon will be defeated in the sense that only the leader will face the enemies inside the cave and the other four members will be battling with their own clones.

But Akatsuki seems failure on this, because it happens that there are 2 platoons of Konoha Shinobi tasked on this mission: 1) Team Kakashi, the main platoon in-charge on the rescue mission, 2) Team Gai, the support platoon or backup of the Team Kakashi.

However, Akatsuki has still hope on this. The Konoha Shinobi might successfully enter their hideout but the question is: Is the power of the Konoha Shinobi enough to defeat the super strange power and technique of these 2 Akatsuki, namely: Sasori and Diedara?
