The Secret of Pain
I was once asked by a friend of what is the secret of Pain. It is obvious that Pain is very much powerful among the ordinary members of the Akatsuki. Even Madara recognized the strength of Pain, in which according to him, Pain was never been defeated on the battle that Pain engaged with.
So, what’s the real secret of Pain.
Well, obviously, based on the information that Jiraiya learned upon fighting the six path of Pain or the six physical body of pain, Pain uses the eye technique called, Rinnegan. However, there are other secrets that Pain is hiding. Just for example:
- The secret of Pain on how he got six physical bodies.
- The secret of Pain on how he managed to move all the six bodies.
But according to Jiraiya, the real Pain is not one of the six paths of Pain. And I think, the place where the six Pains stayed is the actually the real Pain.
I was thinking that just like what how Sasori of the red sand preserved his heart, I think, Pain also preserved his brain and heart in that machine where the six Pain stayed. Those pins pierced on the bodies of the six Pains are actually chakra transiever which served as the points controlled by the chakra coming from the real Pain which is the machine at Pains Palace in the Country of Rain.
So, if this how Pain managed to have his six bodies, then the only way to defeat Pain is to destroy the real Pain.

where is nagato? is he alive or dead? wat about god realm and konan , werent they students of jiraya??

nagato is pain and he was a student of Jirayia…
Pain does not exist or so it seems. No one from the Rain village has actually seen him – except Konan.
Jiraiya tried in vain to fight the 6 bodies (or paths) of Pain all of whom possessing the Rinnegan. Fukasaku (the sage frog) also noted that each body of Pain has its own ninjutsu specialty and that all of them share their vision to create 6 different vantage points. Jiraiya discovered later that they were former shinobis he encountered or fought in the past. Unfortunately, he was only able to ‘kill’ one body (the summoning Pain) and he died knowing that the real Pain isn’t one of them.
Later on we learned that these bodies of Pain are actually corpses brought to Konan and were somehow given the breath of life. And that the piercings they have are chakra receivers. If the real Pain isn’t one of them, then where is he? Who is controlling these bodies?
Although the Rain country is just at the western border of the Fire country, the Hidden Village of Rain is still quite far from Konoha. Having a machine-preserved heart and brain in the palace of the Hidden Rain village controlling these 6 bodies in another country seems too far-fetched as a theory. These corpses required a strong and constant infusion of chakra for them to function effectively. Sending chakra while maintaining its high-level intensity to multiple recipients across 2 countries is stretching the imagination too far.
Is Pain the former Jiraiya student, Nagato? Unlikely. And there are a few reasons why:
1. Except for the Rinnegan eyes, none of the bodies of Pain resemble Nagato. The God realm Pain resembles Yahiko, Jiraiya’s former pupil and childhood friend of Konan and Nagato.
2. Nagato is a compassionate person who thinks and acts to protect his friends. At a very young age, he unintentionally killed another ninja with his Rinnegan while protecting his friend, Yahiko. Despite Jiraiya’s support and counsel, he could hardly recover from his guilt. While it is true that people can change over time, it is quite unlikely for someone who detests killing and who suffered an emotional trauma because of that, to grow up doing exactly the opposite.
3. Nagato is dead. Although no direct physical evidence of his death is presented in the manga, Jiraiya did mention that he heard news that Nagato was killed. News of a ninja’s death in the Narutoworld travels fast. And they are fairly accurate most of the time.
So who then is Pain? Who is controlling the 6 bodies? Your guess is as good as mine. Right now only Masashi Kishimoto knows. But come to think of it, who is authoritative enough to claim that Pain has never lost any battle? Who has always been there fighting together with the 6 bodies of Pain? And who is in proximity to the 6 bodies (or corpses) of Pain – close enough to effectively infuse a constant flow of chakra?
i think that pain is actually Yahiko because when Nagato killed the other ninja he said that he will train to be as good as Nagato and if Madara took the eyes of his brother with medical jutsus then why couldnt Yahiko do the same to Nagato????? Maybe he was gelous on Nagato that he wasnt as good as him and took his eyes to be better….

How naruto ‘n friend to kill pien?
nagato is alive, and the real pain is zetsu, why?, zetsu can rec any battle, and go to any place, when he wants, and how he wants, that’s no ordinary power right?, he rec the sasuke x naruto battle and the itachi x sasuke battle, another think nagato when he kills the ninja to save is friends, he told jiraya, that he blackedout, so that’s the other nagato, the ninja who created the ninja world, ninjutsu, etc, when u can see zetsu, in the anime, hes always talking to himself, he has to colours in is face, one is nagato the other is the real pain, why he doesnt show is rinnegan? that’s obvious, maybe he doesnt want anybody to know is true identity, and if he shows his rinnegan, everybody would recognize him, just my 2 cents :p

KONAN! shes always with him, she new Nagato as a chiled as well as yahkito!
even though she takes orders from him, it could be her.
besides, love is a powerfull emotion, konen loves him, and news spread that he had died, it would make sense if she had taken his rin’negan and placed it in a new vecil to prezerve his existance.

Pain is actually near the Konoha Village, because according to Shizune and Inoichi, in they about to reveal to Tsunade that Pain is controlling the six bodies of Pain through chakra receivers and to be able to control the Six bodies with great power and huge amount of chakra, the controller of the bodies should be near them, or else they cannot transmit enough chakra to the six bodies if they are far away from the controller (which is the Real Pein). To conclude it, the real Pain is hiding just near Konoha village. and the six bodies of pain is not the real Pain. To know for a fact that Yahiko his friend is dead, and the dead body of yahiko that pein is really taking care of, even if he had to sacrifice the other bodies, in order to protect the Deva path (Yahiko dead body). because this is the only thing that has left, to remind him of his friend Yahiko.
People are making this analysis of Pain more complicated than it really is; in my own simple way, it is easy to deduce from the story that the person behind all Akatsuki and the individual controlling Pain is one and the same: Danzo. If you all have observed, both Danzo and Tobi/fake Madara has only one eye shown. Danzo wants Konoha destroyed. Danzo is the scheming, manipulative villain in this chapter of Naruto’s storyline. But then again, this might just be an overly simplistic theory and way out of line.
OMG… somethimes i saw so unbelivable comments… seeams that you dont see the manga… Of course, we dont know all the details, but some things are weird… We know that Nagato is the real pain, he controls all the bodys… But where are he? We dont know… I think that he can be hide in that jutsu that appears, and fixed one of the bodys, the fat one… Related with Zetsu… its complicated… I realy dont believe that Zetsu is Nagato because in the final of Jirayas battle vs pain, Nagato said: ” you can appear now…” and Zetsu appeared… So, impossible to be him… Konan… Its not her too… She his her friend and nothing more… Of course she are always with him., she is the only one that knows the truth, the only one in who pain can trust… Nagato will appear soon, so… we will see
hmmm.. i liked all the comments about pain.. in my opinion, the real pain is naruto’s father, yondaime the 4th hokage.. in the 1st episode of naruto, we saw that yondaime chose to seal the kyuubi to his son, naruto.. maybe he sealed it to his son purposely.. he sealed it to his son because he already planned that someday he will be the one to take the Kyuubi from his son easily.. did u see the idea?? the 4th hokage vanished after that event.. where did he go? maybe he went away and planned about creating a group of powerful ninjas, that we now called the AKATSUKI.. well that’s my idea..
Um yondaime died by sealing the fox into naruto, and pain is way older than yondiame I believe because in the flashbacks of some manga, nagato konan and yuhiko or whaterver his name is, they met the 3 sannin when they were the 3 sannin, I believe the 4th was trained by jiraiya like a little later when orochimaru start to get crazier and all, so take back what I said they may be around the same age, but I believe nagato and the other two were taught first before the 4th. Also i think naruto will find some bs way to still beat him, I hope its elaborate though
We’ll find out for certain tomorrow. It looks that Nagato has been confirmed to be the real Pain and that makes sense beacause if one reads the manga,Jiraiya first encounters Yahiko, Konan and Nagato when they were kids.
Nagato was a very sensitive child, already trumatized by the horrors of war, his parents were killed. He and Konan were befriended by Yahiko who kind of looked out for them all until they recieved care and training by Jiraiya.
During this time Jiraiya first noticed Nagato’s eyes bore the Rinnegan, not Konan or Yahiko. The Rinnegan was said to be the most powerful of the 3 eye techniques, possessed solely according to legend in the narutoverse, by the Sage of The Six Paths, said to be the father of the entire ninja world. And Jiraiya first thought Nagato was the child of prophecy, he recanted on that theory during his battle with Pain at the moment of death he then firmly believe the destined child to be Naruto.
Well Nagato’s traumatic and painful childhood is the reason why Pain wants to enforce unversal peace among the shinobi nations by threatening them with destruction with the ultimate jitsu, created from the chakra of the captured bijuu, the tailed beasts.
And something comes to mind as well, why is Konan so protective of Nagato?It could that they were siblings.
well in my opinion i read about the things on google and i believe pain is really im not kidding naruto’s uncle most people claim him to be the 4th hokage but really that technique the 4th hokage used on nine tails was powerful but when 3rd hokage did it so he died but naruto might die obviously but transforming into nine tails but the secret maybe is he has the powers to control the hokages full actions and maybe he can fuse together together something powerful to make something that will kill not only the nine tailed fox but also naruto
all of you you never read the latest mangga series….for me pain is not nagato…pain is the white fang!!!!! the father of Kakashi….the ninja who left the village because He was to be Blaim by his co ninja’s that there mission was unsuccessful because the the white fang knows it could be success mission but it will kill many of his co ninja’s….. he was to be blaim…in the movie he just suddenly gone had and jiraiya heard a news that he was allready dead but there is no evidence….the white fang the father of kakashi…..is the six path of pain…who controlling the six bodies……
