Kakashi Died – Naruto Manga 423
The release of the Naruto manga chapter 423 a little bit made me sad. At first, I thought Kakashi and the team of obese would win against the two Pains but in the end it seems that kakashi will die.
Kakashi used already his chakra but Pain is still strong and full of strength. The last page of the Naruto manga chapter 423 showed the a figure similar to that of Kakashi who was hit by the attack of Pain.
Is it the end of the Kakashi’s role in the Naruto story?
I’ll just wish that Kakashi will not really die here. It will be fine if Tsunade will be killed but not Kakashi.

I don’t think he’ll die. The writer should know better than kill one of everyone’s fav character. If Kakashi dies, my interest in Naruto will really go down. What I think is that Naruto might have appeared at that instant and stopped it also, cuz Naruto also has spilky hair (just a thought). Or Tsunade’s slug saved him probably, or something.
I think that kakashi did not die. Look at the last page of chapter 423 where blood came out from kakashi as Pein shot the screw through him, (supposedly). However, the blood might be the effect of the mangekyou sharingan. (blood also came out from Itachi’s eyes when he used the MS). Thus he did not die

We wont know it until the next chapter comes out, but perhaps the nail pierced through Kakashi’s sharingan too? That wouldn’t kill him at least….
i agree with babato in saying that kakashi did not die he simply got his sharingan rip out/popped.
Nope, kakashi did not died nor ripped his sharingan out of his eye socket. Remember the last line “The last thing that was left with kakashi”? It points to his sharingan. He was able to save his last drop of chakra and used it during his last attack after Demon realm jumped out of nowhere. He was able to, somehow, get a closer look at Pein’s eye just in time to successfully apply gengutsu on Pain (see page 13 of 423). the following pages are nothing but gengutsu.
Don’t worry guys and girls I didn’t die – just learned to use sharingan genjitsu – afterall consider this I NEVER have used genjitsu in any of the previous big fights. Also Sasuke and Narutard have to fight to the death, how’s that going to happen unless Sasuke kills me; perhaps I’m saved by Sakura *evil laugh*.
Not to mention more importantly I’m the most popular character in several polls running (even more popular than Naruto – live with it Narutards), you’d basically kill the series off when I die; and who would young boys get their courtship lessons from? Someone has to continue the icha icha novels or at least read them – afterall Jiraiya-sama has passed away (or has he? *cue dramatic music*).
I also acquire Pein’s Rinnegan basically making me… well to put it bluntly: freakin’ awesome dattebayo! but hey you’ll have to find out how that happened.

I’m so disappointed of what had happened on this chapter (423), It’s just Kakashi has been a very special naruto character for me because his attitudes are same as mine and it sucks to know that he’d just died! I hope he’s still alive.
i think kakashi will use his mangekyu sharingan to blow the nail like wat he did with the other akatsuki who can make clay bombs then someone with come and rescue kakashi, maybe sunade or gai.
I thought that I killed Jiraya that time but the fact is that he did not really die.
He got up from the buttom of the sea and saved kakashi. He is now less powerfull cause he is using a popet on his left hand but he still is a three legendary ninja.
The only major caracter who died in this attack is Sakura. Boyz, I hate her type.
I agree that he used Genjutsu. Notice that Kakashi used his Mangekyou Sharingan when he got near Pain (at the point he signaled “Now!”; or maybe I’m just mistaken with the image). Maybe he used it’s Genjutsu ability which we have never seen yet (just like Itachi’s powerful Tsukuyomi). Also, notice that his eyes got worn out after his thrust of Raikiri to the other Pain. As proven by his fight with Jiraiya, Pain is weak with genjutsu (although this assumption might be false as putting visual genjutsu on one Pain body could be dispelled because he has other bodies, eyes and minds; or probably true, might be that you can put individual genjutsu on each body just like the three bodies of Pain who fought with Jiraiya was insulatedly affected while the other three were not; perhaps the answer to this question lies in mind probe of Ino’s father). This can be supported by the fact that he got half of chakra after use of two raikiris (the bunshin may have cost equally with what he uses on his hand, assuming). After use of the third raikiri, he was so worn out (he could have used a fourth one to deplete his chakra, or spare the chakra to use other technique to escape) which can only be explained that he use Mangekyou Sharingan. By the way, with Kakashi and Naruto’s fight with Hidan and Kakuzu, Kakasi used Raikiri for 5-6 times.
Another point of view is that Kakashi has the habit of using his words as distraction to his opponents (just like his fight with Momochi Zabuza). He may have deceived Pain by what he said “I’ve got half of my chakra left” if that statement isn’t true.

i just read chapter 424 and both kakashi and choji’s dad died pain killed choji’s dad died fighting pain but kakashi died saving choji from 1 of peins dying bodies missiles. he used tha blackhole thing to absorb it, knowing that it would kill him because of his low chakra level.

As much as I hate to say it, Kakashi may be dead. The hero and mentor figures that are around the main character will not always be there, so unfortunately, everyone must pass on at one point or another.

Kakashi uses genjutsu to make it look like choji is running in one direction so he can take out one of the pain bodies. Choji is really out of sight. They could always use the forbidden scrolls to bring Kakashi back to life. LOL…
Ive just read the 424…. If he dies, like this. Without kicking some more as, then ill stop reading instantly. Its Kakashi, comon, he cant die against 2 pains. Jeraiya fought them all (and died but still). Kakashi is a legend in the Naruto World, He is almost as famous as the sannins.
Even worse would be if he survives but loses his sharingan.

Suneo123 your over analyzing the Naruto chapter 424, first of all kakashi is not talking to Pein, those line toward the end of the chapter was him talking to himself, and second genjustu does’nt work on pein unless its a genjustu that effects all his other puppet ninjas he have, for example Jiriyah used a sound genjustu so it worked for him, look it up, third Pein was’nt in this chapter at all only a flash back from one of his puppets, that kakashi and Choji’s father pretty much beat his ass, and thirdly kakashi still had his mangekou eyes still active when he thought about Obito and Rin. Now, my prediction is if Tsunade cannot save kakashi than he is dead get over it. Becuase you know all of you guys going to still read the mangas even if they killed kakashi.

This is really hard, but it never showed Kakashi die. All it showed was him closing his eyes and then going to his dad it a camp. I think they will have a conversation and out of nowhere Kakashi will get healed and defeat the pains. It happens all the time in naruto….

In a way, I kinda wish Kakashi would’ve died in a more dramatic way and in a way he was defending someone from Team 7 instead of Choji. ><; (It’s possible no?) This manga has got to be one of the saddest things I’ve ever read…it does hold reality to it, really.
In all honesty, I’m kind of half tempted to stop reading the manga all together and just read fanfictions on the internet Lol. It’s good work mind you, but the manga is getting way too sad for a softy like me.

Kakashi’s not dead. He’s in a near-death situation but he’s not yet dead. He can still survive and he will. Either Tsunade’s katsuyu or a medical ninja will come and heal him. Chouji will also play an important role in Kakashi’s rescue. Kishimoto Masashi is not yet ready to kill him. And I’ll tell you why….
1. Kishimoto’s style in killing an important ninja character in the Narutoworld is simple: the character is mortally wounded in battle and death follows quickly. None of these deaths occurred with the dying character having an actual encounter with their dead loved ones. Sarutobi-sensei (the 3rd Hokage), Asuma, Jiraiya, Orochimaru and Itachi all died without the benefit of being able to talk to their dead relative or friend before they moved to the afterlife.
2. Chapter 425 shows Kakashi on the brink of death leaving readers in suspense. And yet, Kishimoto releases the next chapter (426) without even mentioning or touching Kakashi’s fate. A very important character dies and the author ignores him for a while? Again this is hardly Kishimoto’s style of disposing a precious character. This is a sign that Kakashi will live.
3. No manga author is stupid enough to kill a character who’s always in the top 5 of major popularity polls. A few times, Kakashi even ranked first in the Shonen jump popularity polls. If Kishimoto dares to kill a very important and popular Naruto character in the person of Kakashi, then he’ll be watching his readership ratings go down.
Have no fear, Kakashi’s return is near.

just finish to read chapter 428 and yes, looks like kishimoto its going to kill him, when chiji ask tsunade about the injures one, she told him that his father was still alive but kakashi was done for, and since naruto is training with the frog, when he come back for kakashi’s funeral, naruto is going to release some kind of power a kill all the bad guys, or some sort of ting.

Im not reading naruto manga, but i follow the anime religiously, and im telling you now , if they killed kakashi off, about 70 percent of the viewers wouldnt bother watching it anymore. Kakashi is the best character in the franchise, theres just something about it. So, my vote goes to that of him surviving pain in some form or another.
