I don’t know if Hinata is dead already. But it is showed by the Naruto Manga 442 that Sakura is healing Hinata. And while trying to save Hinata, Sakura finally realized that Hinata really loves Naruto.

In the previous Naruto Manga chapter, 441, we learned that it was not Naruto who suppressed the Nine-tailed fox by himself but it’s the 4th Hokage through the sealing technique used by the 4th Hokage to the Demon Fox 16 years ago. When Naruto was in the 8 tailed fox, the 4th Hokage appeared at Naruto’s consciousness and sealed the Fox again. That time the Demon Fox failed to rule over Naruto’s body.
